Dining Policies

Group Dining

To maximize the experience of all of our guests, our dining room can accommodate a maximum of eight guests seated at a single table. For larger groups, you may reserve Mrs. Stout’s Room, the Ice House, or one of several outdoor spaces (indoor space must be available as back up) in advance of your visit to guarantee availability.

If you choose not to reserve space for your group, same day availability of group dining spaces is first-come, first serve and only one group may reserve and/or use a group dining space per night. If a group dining space is unavailable, groups of nine or more guests that choose not to reserve a space for dining in advance may be asked to make separate reservations or may not be able to be accommodated at that time.

Groups of 15 or more must make arrangements in advance.

Public Dining

The majority of the island and its facilities are closed to the public; however dining reservations can be made for lunch or dinner, Sunday through Thursday based on resort availability.

Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance. A $5 per person transportation fee will be charged at the time of reservation. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Group dining policies apply to non-lodging guests as well (see above).

Dress Code

The dining room dress code for breakfast and lunch is “island casual” (jeans, t-shirts, sandals, etc.).

In the evenings the standard is business casual (button-downs, polo shirts, slacks, blouses, skirts, etc.).  Jeans and shorts that are not worn, torn, or distressed in any way may be worn during dinner as well. Caps and hats are not allowed at anytime.

It is our goal to provide the finest dining experience possible and therefore we ask all our guests to make the best possible effort to adhere to this dress code.  However, we still wish for you to relax and enjoy your meal with us–please ask us if you have any questions or concerns.
